Joseph Furnari has lived in the tri-hamlet community for most of his life and is proud to serve as a Trustee for the Mastics-Moriches-Shirley Community Library. A graduate of the William Floyd School District, Joseph and his wife, Kelly, are raising their children in the same district that shaped his early years.

Joseph’s commitment to the community began in 2017 with his involvement on the board of the All Faith Soccer League and the Tri-Hamlet Day Celebration Committee. These early volunteer roles sparked a deep dedication to local advocacy and service. Over the years, Joseph has expanded his efforts, becoming a board member of the Mastics and Shirley Chamber of Commerce and participating in the Chamber’s Christmas Day Parade Committee. His dedication extends to the Knights of Columbus St. Jude Council and Our Lady Queen of Apostles Advisory Board. Most recently, he co-founded and serves as Vice President of LeTip Suffolk South Shore, a local business networking group.

In addition to his volunteer efforts, Joseph is a proud small business owner and a strong advocate for the future of the tri-hamlet area. His work reflects a genuine passion for making a positive impact, driven by a desire to create a better community for his children and future generations.
